Green Dragon Organic Farm in Tatamagouche, NS, is offering an summer internship for room and board, from May to September. The farm is 2 acres, Demeter certified, has a 40-member CSA program and attends the Truro and Tatamagouche farmers markets. The internship is a full-time position, and the intern would develop a wide variety of skills ranging from intensive greenhouse and field production of vegetables to the care of animals (chicken, goats, fallow deer), and would also learn about biodynamic farming.
